In October 2018. started the project “The different care”, which is implemented on the territory of the Clinic of Pediatrics and Genetic Diseases, Plovdiv. It aims to create a different hospital stay for hospitalized children so that they feel calm and complete during and after hospitalization. “The different care” is the care that accompanies the healing process! The project envisages the implementation of educational and entertaining activities for hospitalized children from 4 to 18 years on the territory of the clinic, as well as online meetings with children that continue their recovery at home.
A team of qualified teachers and art therapists will work for better resocialization and a larger number of children who have returned successfully to school after a long hospitalization. To create a sense of comfort and overcome stress during treatment, 40 creative workshops will be organized, including working with clay, decoupage, flower therapy, jewelry making, working with yarn and more.
This project is implemented thanks to the largest socially responsible initiative of Lidl Bulgaria “You and Lidl for a better life”, in partnership with the Foundation “Workshop for Civic Initiatives” and the Bulgarian Grantor’s Forum
